Holding Your Positions
Maintaining Posture and Shape going back enables the club and arms to swing down without having to make any compensations with the body in transition in the RSS. In this video Gary talks about training your posture by setting up correctly and holding your positions.
Perfecting the Set-up
The hardest thing for everybody to get is the correct Shape at set-up. Tour Players tend to go off track when they try to push too-far-forward instead of getting the Shape with the arms. In this lesson Gary talks about the importance of being in the centre and being able to hit small shapes.
Right Arm in Front
When Tour Players swings get out they usually have trouble hitting both shapes. In this lesson Gary talks about the importance of being shallow early with the right arm in front of the body and how to Draw and Fade the ball correctly.
Arms Lead
Players usually get in trouble in the transition when they shift or clear the body early. Having the Arms Lead is only possible if your backswing is coiled and you have Shape.Tiger had this Drill mastered and many of Gary’s players still do it to check they are in the correct position going back.

Power Leak
The correct arm bias at set-up is crucial in determining the Shape of the body and how the arms work during the swing. Most people who leak power set-up with their right arm straight and then over-shape their body.
Blocked Right Side
If the right side of the body gets blocked it is impossible to turn in the correct direction and maintain your Shape. Most right-side blockers set up with backward hips and toe their right foot in. In this video Gary talks about freeing up the right side of the body.
