Golfers who turn turn their hips and shoulders in the same direction look like a Bus Driver turning the steering wheel to the left. We have had a huge response to this video from the extremely large Bus Driver community. Gary has also posted the best drills for fixing this pattern to the RSS Daily Feed.
I just want to tell you the bus driver drills have done wonders with my game. I know understand the swing better and can repeat it. I shot my age twice now 72.

Hey Gary and Luke, thank you for that excellent breakdown. I too suffer from the Bus driver and so much of it had to do with what my concept of turn and what clear the hips meant. Back in the 80’s and early 90’s it seemed as a reaction to the low and slow wide one piece takeaway (eg; Nicklaus/Norman), we were told we needed to turn or rotate in one piece – “the dog wagging the tail analogy” which in my case seemed to result in the over rotation both back and through and hence I became a Bus Driver for many years. Once again thank you for the help with this and the great video, following this and playing with the drills on the course has helped greatly.
