Right Sided Golf’s Fabrizio Zanotti, has won the BMW International Open at Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof. After a final round of 65, he beat Henrick Stenson in a 5 hole play-off .
“I was patient. I tried to play shot by shot in the play off. I’m just very happy,” Zanotti said.
“I knew today that if I made a good run I’d have a good chance. Today was my day.
“I’ve been working a lot and trying to build my confidence to get to this moment and finally I’m here.”
Zanotti produced the best round of the four players to reach the play off as he carded a flawless 65 for the second successive day.
This was his first European Tour International Schedule victory in his 181st European Tour event.
He moves to €543,835 in The Race to Dubai and could move to just inside the top 110 in the Official World Golf Ranking from 305th .
Fabrizio becomes the first player from Paraguay to win on The European Tour.
