Peter Senior said he was nervous on the range this morning because he had not played a 4-round-tournament for over a year. He has been practicing though, he’s been working on his swing and getting better and better and today he showed everyone who watched him how the game should be played. He hit 17 greens in regulation and fired a bogey-free round of 67.
Gary said to him after the round that it did not matter what happened this week after playing like that. That it was one the the best rounds he had seen. Peter replied “I want to go do it again tomorrow”.
A true and underestimated champion, and even at this later stage of life is likely to show the young pupps up over and over again whenever he decides he is ready!
