Right Sider Taylor Cooper ran away from the field for victory today at the 2014 Coca-Cola Rich-River Trainee Classic.
In difficult windy conditions Cooper carded a solid final round 70 to win by eight shots over former Rich River member Aaron Coates.
After commencing the final round with a five-shot margin, Cooper was always favoured to win. He maintained his form throughout the final round, managing to comfortably hold off his challengers.
With a string of birdies on the home stretch Cooper finished at 10 under par for the tournament and clearly deserved to win his first four-round Trainee event and goes home with a first place prize-purse of $5760.
Taylor was the youngest golfer to gain his Australaian Pga Tour card and has always been part of The Right Sided Family. A big Congrats to Taylor and coach Peter Krawitz on a well deserved victory
